DEPARTMENT OF BIOETHICS AND MEDICAL ETHICS

This department’s main functions are teaching at the pre and post graduate level (master degree course) and also investigation in the field of bioethics, medical ethics, biolaw and biopolitics.

Its activities include giving technical opinions on research protocols in human beings (clinical trials) and also on animal research. To accomplish these goals, the creation of a Reference Center in the field of bioethics was regarded as instrumental. In this center, professors, students, and foreign researchers can consult the most relevant titles in this scientific area.
